MARAMA is currently working with partners throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases through the following programs:


VA DERA  Dray truck owners serving the Port of Virginia can apply for up to $27,500 towards the purchase of a newer vehicle with model year 2011 engine.  Help reduce emissions in Virginia by participating in this incentive program funded by the EPA.  For more information and program application, please click HERE.   


BUILD IT WITH CLEAN DIESEL PROGRAM is available to small contractors in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, PA. To apply for funding up to $100,000 for engine replacement for construction equipment, click here for application. 


PORT OF BALTIMORE DRAY TRUCK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM – Dray truck owners serving the Port of Baltimore can apply for up to $30,000 towards the purchase of a newer vehicle with model year 2010 engine.


MARYLAND FREEDOM FLEET VOUCHER PROGRAM – Financial assistance for purchase of new and converted fueled vehicles registered in Maryland.  Incentive amounts vary based on gross vehicle weight. For an application and more program information click on above link.


SMARTWAY PROGRAM – Launched in 2004, SmartWay® is an EPA program that helps the freight transportation sector improve supply chain efficiency. SmartWay reduces transportation-related emissions that affect climate change, reduce environmental risk for companies and increase global energy security. MID-ATLANTIC DIESEL COLLABORATIVE10TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING IN WAYNE, PA ON MAY 4TH, 2016 - A spring meeting with colleagues.
